Guest:I am a food science professional working in a cereal institute depending on the Argentina government and we are trying to help some students in their thesis which is based on extrusion of a candy bar for emergency situations. Is possible to you to send us by email a sketch of an ideal line of production of a candy bar and its budget? A double co rotating screw extruder is needed (we suppose, but there is not much information about this kind of product). The product composition is based on:
wheat flour ----------------------24.7%
vegetal oil hydrogenated--------21.3%
glucose---------------------------32%
dried coconut--------------------7.6%
corn starch----------------------10%
corn syrup-----------------------3%
lecityn (as emulsifier)-----------1%
orange flavor--------------------0.03%
The final humidity is 2-4%. And a production line of 1.5 Tn/month is needed.
