This line can produce sugus soft candy and other types of hi-chewy soft candys. It can be used for producing not only the normal soft milk candy, but also the “central -filling” milk candy , “central -filling” toffee candy and etc..

Complete plant for chewy candy ( Sugus style ):

1. Cooking system:
a. Preparing station
    Including 2 dissolvers with the capacity of 500 L each and 1 intermediate tank of 1000 L which are all in double jacked and stainless steel and equipped with agitators. The pre-weighted materials are fed into the dissolvers manually.
b. One set of Aerated Cooker type GF-CK-100 AR
This cooker is used for produce the soft and chewy candy mass automatically. The max capacity is up to 400kg/hour and the actual output is determined by prescription and working condition.
1.     The cooking system is consists of the following parts:
One stainless-steel main body (diameter: 700mm, height: 3170) with peephole, cone-shaped bottom, fixed lid, heating coil, steam valve, feeding valve and thermometer.
Capacity: 80-120kg/batch
This system is equipped one vacuum pump set including vacuum pump, one electrical motor (5.5kw), stainless-steel condenser and vacuum control valve.
Cooking and vacuuming are controlled by electrical thermo-controller.
2.     The stirring system is consists of the following parts:
One 300-liter stainless steel sparkling vessel with 2 infeed joints, one for vesicant and another for candy mass. One safety equipment for preventing from opening of bottom lid during production.
3.     Control cabinet is adopted the Omron PLC to control the following procedure:
A.   The quantity of raw material is pre-set by a level sensor and fed into the cooker.
B.   Cooking and vacuum degree are controlled by PT-100 linearity temper controller.
C.   The puffing valve is opened to maximum.
D.   The mixing circulation is controlled by PLC.
E.    The feeding quantity is controlled by the adjusting of strokes of the pump.
F.    Feeding of gelatine.
G.   Feeding of acid powder.

C. Cooling station (to be supplied locally)                                        
    Including 2 cooling table in stainless steel (all the parts contacting the candy mass) and double jacked plus 1 intermediate tank with the capacity of 500 L to receiving the candy mass from the cooker. The colors and flavors will be mixed with the mass on the cooling table manually.
D. Hot water circling system
   Including 2 heating tanks of 300 L each with thermometer control (the client has to decide on the heating by steam or electricity) plus all the circling pipes, pumps and valves.
2. One set of co-extruder ( GF-EX-100/2 ):     
Co-extruder type EX-100/2 is capable to offer 1-4 candy ropes of 1-2 colors with capacity of max.500kg/hour for bubblegum and chewy candy production.  This machine is equipped with advanced electrical control system and mechanical convering structure. It can feed max. 4 sets cut & wrap machines continuously and is reliable in safety and convenient for operation.
1.     MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
The extruder is equipped with two barrels mounted on one frame, each barrel with two F 115 infeed rollers and two F 100 extrusion screws attached.
Two sets of 60-liter hoppers on top of the barrels are built in two parts. Various forming dies are properly designed as requested, correspond to different shapes of product.
The extruder is equipped with three individual heating units. Heating or cooling of the barrels is controlled respectively by three water tanks via three thermo-regulators with digital display. Automatic adjustment starts when temperature has been set. The set temperature and the actual temperature are shown on the display.
The gearboxes are also installed on the extruder. Each unit includes gears gone through thermal procession. All axles are fixed on a ball bearing. The gears and the bearings run in an oil bath. The hydraulic reservoir is filled with special oil resistant to high-pressure. An electronic over-pressure protection device is fitted in each barrel accurately controlled by a microprocessor.
2.     ELECTRIC APPLIANCES
Two A.C. frequency converters together with main driving motors are introduced to infinitely adjust the extrusion speed.
Each set of extrusion screws is assigned with a variator to regulate the ratio depending on various raw materials to be extruded. “Speed Up or Down” Operation is achieved by a variator when the ratio has been fixed.
The extruder is equipped with three thermo-regulators with temperature display. All electric components and adjustment device are positioned at eye’s level. All contactors, relays and fuses are installed in the control cabinet.

3. One set of Cooling Tunnel ( GF-CL- 50 / 350 / 5 )
1.     WORKING PRINCIPLE
GF Cooling Tunnel is optimized by George Food Machinery Ltd based on the advanced European technology. Refrigeration units and circulation device are adopted to achieve constant temperature and humidity in the cooling tunnel, in which 1-4 candy ropes is transported smoothly by 5 conveyor belts.
2.     MAIN CONSTRUCTION
A.    Transportation
5 conveyor belts of 6000mmX350mm are driven by a 2.2 kw motor with a double-stage chain system to take over the continuously extruded ropes. Special transferring device is located at the entrance and the exit to deliver the extruded ropes to the wrappers. Running speed of the conveyor belts is infinitely adjustable within the range of 0-0.5m/s and is controlled by a Japanese frequency converter.
B.    Support
Strong supports are provided along the tunnel. Insulation walls around the tunnel is surrounded by slabs of rolled sheet steel filled with foamed insulating stuffing. Two glass doors stands in the front and at the rear side for the supervision of interior running status. There are six doors altogether for checking and maintenance the tunnel.
C.   Air Circulation
The air condenser in the tunnel is cooled by an exterior refrigeration unit. Two axle ventilators propel the cool air in the tunnel to circulate to reach the set temperature. Three adjustable electrical units for heating and dehydration are also installed to help the tunnel operation under constant humidity and temperature in accordance with technical requirement for specific product.
D.   Electric Control
The complete set of electric components are fitted in the control cabinet located at the end of the cooling tunnel. A microprocessor made by the Omron Co., Japan is introduced to set and regulate transportation speed and temperature and to start and stop ventilators as well as electric heating device. A main operation panel is fitted at the infeed side and an auxiliary panel is located at the rear side of the tunnel. It is possible to check, set and adjust through the main panel the belt speed, and to start/stop ventilators and electric heating device and to turn off the tunnel. An emergency stop button is fitted on the auxiliary panel.
E.    Refrigeration
A complete refrigeration system working with refrigerant R22 is composed of a Copeland compressor, a refrigerating unit, a condencer and is characterized by appropriate working pressure. The system offers smooth running of the belt, low noise and excellent cooling effect. Four refrigerating units are de-frosted in intervals and can work continuously under low temperature.

4.     One set of Cut & Wrap machine  GF- CW- 600 UF ( SUGUS style ):
This wrapping machine is for the shaping, cutting and packaging of bubble gum and chewy candy with rectangular shape in side folding wrapping style. The machine can wrap products with 2 sheets of waxed paper, i.e. the inner and outer paper. Both paper can be fed from the 2 reels with the outer one printed. It can fulfil side-folding or back-folding operation depending on your choice.

5. One set of Stick Wrapper GF-SW-100 ( on edge ):
This stick wrapping machine is for the rectangular-shape packed articles such as toffees and chewing-gum. The machine can wrap products with inner and outer wrapping material. Both paper can be fed from the 2 reels with the outer one printed. Wrapping style is side-folding on edge. The wrapper has to be linked with the relevant cut & wrap machine which handles the individual wrap and then deliver the wrapped products into the stick wrapper.

3.         Mode of Operation
Single articles are taken by the feeding conveying belt and delivered in the provided number per collecting package to a lower stamp. The packing material drawn off from the reel and cut off from the web and the tab are pushed together with the good between retaining jaws of a periodically operating turret head. The wrapping, the sealing and the ejection of the collecting package are realized in the rhythm of the indexing steps of the turret head.
